PsyAsia International would like our clients as well as the general public in Indonesia to be aware that there is an Individual by the name of Heru Wiryanto who is offering to run the British Psychological Society Level A and B Certificates of Competence in Occupational Testing in an express 4 day course in association with HRD Forum in Indonesia.
An example of his offerings may be found at:
http://idemployment.blogspot.com/2008/05/head-hunter-psychological-assessment-in.html
The material on his various websites and blogs is illegally copied directly from the PsyAsia International website without permission and is a violation of copyright and intellectual property law.
Furthermore, despite his claim, Mr. Wiryanto is not a member of the British Psychological Society (please check with them directly on (+44 116 254 9568 if you prefer). He is unable to pass attendees for the Level A and B certificates. So, anybody who registers for his course is likely to get not only a poor learning experience, but they will not get the certification they have registered for. We and our partner in the UK have made a complaint to the Abuse section of the BPS.
We have notified both HRD forum and the Indonesian Psychological Society, both of whom have not responded as of 6th June to our email of one week previous.
PsyAsia International is now taking further steps as deemed necessary. In the meantime, we strongly urge you not to register for this training as it can only lead to disappointment. Please consider our course which is legitimate, which has been run for over 10 years and which really does lead to the BPS Certificates. Our course is run by an award-winning fully registered organisational psychologist whose PhD was in the area of psychometric assessment at work!
