Free Psychometrics Course: Week 10 – Ethical Issues in Psychometric Testing

In Module 10 of our 10-week, Free Online Psychometric Testing Course, we look at Ethical Issues in Psychometric Testing. This draws on everything we have covered in the course so far because by following what has been taught, Learners will be practicing ethical psychometrics. This Module cements this by summarizing what can and cannot be with tests and test results and discussing fair and unfair behavior in psychometrics at work. Free Psychometrics Course: Week 9 – Psychometric Test Feedback

In Module 9 of our 10-week, Free Online Psychometric Testing Course, we look at Psychometric Test Feedback. Feedback is a critical part of the process of psychometric testing at work, but is often not done at all, or not done properly. We will show Learners why feedback is critical, and how to provide professional feedback to candidates and decision-makers for both aptitude/ability and personality assessments. To be scientific in the use of test results, we need to feedback in terms of job requirements and so we will also discuss how to do this. Module 9 will be released on 2 December, 2015 to those registered for our Free Psychometrics MOOC.

Free Psychometrics Course: Week 8 – Interpreting Psychometric Test Results

In Module 8 of our 10-week, Free Online Psychometric Testing Course, we look at Interpreting Psychometric Test Results. Now that we know how to score psychometric tests and transform between different score systems, it is time to consider how we will add meaning to those scores by competent interpretation. In this Module, our Learners will be taught how to interpret both aptitude and personality assessments and how to form hypotheses of potential work behaviors on the basis of these test results. Module 8 will be released on 25 November, 2015 to those registered for our Free Psychometrics MOOC.

Free Psychometrics Course: Week 7 – Scoring Psychometric Tests

In Module 7 of our 10-week, Free Online Psychometric Testing Course, we look at Scoring of Psychometric Tests. Nowadays, the majority of psychometric test scoring is carried out by computer. This reduces the potential for error that we may see with hand-scoring. However, once we know the candidate’s score, we need to know how to use that score, how to obtain meaning from it, and how to transform it to other types of scoring systems. We will focus on these issues in this Module. Module 7 will be released on 18 November, 2015 to those registered for our Free Psychometrics MOOC.

Free Psychometrics Course: Week 6 – Psychometric Test Administration

In Module 6 of our 10-week, Free Online Psychometric Testing Course, we look at Psychometric Test Administration. It is critical that we choose the right test for assessing what we want to assess and not just rely on recommendations of tests from colleagues. However, once we have chosen a psychometric test in a scientific manner, we need to ensure that we administer that test properly in order to retain or enhance its validity. That’s what this Module of our online distance learning course in Psychometric Testing for the Workplace is all about.

In Module 5 of our 10-week, Free Online Psychometric Testing Course, we look at Psychometric Test Validity. Validity tells us whether our test actually does what it is supposed to do. There are multiple types of validity and we shall discuss these. Learn how to evaluate the validity of psychometric tests in our free psychometrics training course.
