What if I fail the quiz or test? Will I have to pay separately for the re-test?

In most courses, learning games and quizzes are spaced throughout the course for your learning and review. At the end of the course there is a final assessment. Of course, this is entirely optional. However if you wish to receive a certificate of any kind (soft or hard copy), you must pass this final assessment. You have two chances to pass for most courses (one for accreditation courses). The pass rate is 75%-80% depending on the course. If you fail the first attempt, the system will advise you to retake the course where applicable. You should ensure that you do this within the validity of your enrollment. You will then have a second chance to complete the assessment free of charge. If you pass it on the second attempt, a certificate will be issued as per our normal procedure outlined in these FAQs. If you fail your second attempt, you will need to re-enroll in the course, even if you have enrollment time remaining. If this happens to you, we suggest you make the most use of your remaining enrollment time by continuing to go through the course and other quizzes. When this expires, pay for and re-enroll in the course. Then take the quiz again, after some more course review if you still need to. Ideally of course, you should not take the second attempt at the course assessment until you are absolutely ready and therefore would not be subjected to additional re-assessment fees!
